Gate 4 - The Horse Gate
HORSE GATE: Spiritual Warfare (in Christ Jesus)

Horses were not in common use in Israel, although Solomon bought in thousands of horses and chariots to trade with other nations. However, horses in those days, symbolised warfare.
The Horse Gate reminds us that as believers, we are constantly in spiritual warfare. As Christians, we must be ready when the devil tries to tempt and lead us astray. We must be strong in the Lord to withstand. In Ephesians, we see that the armour of God will help us stand against our enemy. We are advised to be vigilant to resist the devil.
1 Peter 5:8-9 Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring
lion looking for someone to devour. 9 Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings. (NIV)
